Have You?

It's a shame the way society tends to characterize undocumented immigrants as criminals or terrorists. When their only offense was and is that they abandoned their homeland in order to embrace the American Dream, while at the same time assisting financially their family back home ...

Have any of you ever met or spoken to an undocumented immigrant? Have you sat down and truly listened to their painful stories? By the Grace of GOD we've dined, counseled and held their hands through the toughest times of their life's. Most of all, they've honored us with the gift of PRAYING over them and their new born infants ... It's truly a shame how so many people love to point fingers; but so little sit down and ask themselves, what would JESUS do? Nonetheless, we're going to continue doing this ...

This Is Why ...

Why should you care if an Undocumented Immigrant ate, was allowed to obtain an education just like other children born in the United States and rent an apartment or house in order to keep warm and safe?

Please let us ask all of you another question or two before we conclude? Should you, we and the rest of society turn our heads to the cries of babies or teens because their hungry or cold at night? Should anyone care if a pregnant mother was so afraid to go to free clinic to obtain medical assistance so that her unborn child would receive the proper health care? Now our reply to all of the above is this ... How would you feel if it were you or anyone in your family experiencing this? Before you rush to respond, think about this when you have a minute?

Philippians 2:4 ~ Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.

Who's to Blame?

Is it President Obama that applauds same sex marriages, Congress or the people next door that roll their eyes at the cries of the defenseless? In our opinion its all the above ... People that close their minds, harden their hearts and won't extend a helping hand to those that the government calls undocumented ...

If you don't know who were referring to, allow us to introduce to the moms, dads and young people that work hard, pay taxes, have an above average grade level in the public school systems and are tired of hiding because their afraid of one day being deported ... Separated from their families and friends without even a hug or a good-bye kiss ... Last but certainly not least, they still dream of one day being called a citizen of this law making land that supports the rich and abuses the poor ... We say this freely and openly because everyday we chat, comfort and Pray over the family and friends of Undocumented men, women & teens that just want to embrace the American Dream ...

Proverbs 19:17 ~ Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.

"We're Called To"

Did you know that the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Article 19 says this:

Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers.

That's why as Parents, Pastors and Activists too, we're taking this opportunity to alert society about these stereotyping and discriminating laws that are focusing their attention on individuals and families that look different ... Don't speak English clearly due to their accents and haven't been able to obtain a Green Card yet. In addition to working for less and living in the worst neighborhoods because they can't afford anything else ... On the other hand, they still believe that one day they'll be able to pay an attorney; so that their Immigration status is legalized ... These are the men, women and youths that Pray and await to embrace the American Dream ...

We'll continue to generate awareness regarding these cruel Immigration Laws because this Bible tells us so ...

Ephesians 4:15 ~ Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ,

Are they Fair?

Is it fair to deny undocumented children or teens the right to continue their education in the only place they know as home? We're asking you this because right now Alabama and other states have welcomed a Heartless Law that criminalizes anyone who allows undocumented students to attend their schools ... In our opinion, that's a crime because aren't these young people tomorrow's leaders? What can we expect them to achieve without an education? How would you feel if they were your kids?

It's an outrageous shame to see, read and hear how the press continues to say that undocumented students only attend school so that their parents can obtain public assistance. Nonetheless if the board of education allowed the public to view the records of undocumented students, you'd see that they tend to have a prefect attendance record and their grades are higher than most students with documentation. Perhaps it's due to the fact that they've heard their parents or other siblings tell them that the only way to get ahead in life is by embracing an education ... What do you think about that fact?

One more thing and we'll be on our way ... Education is the key to opening doors, that's why we truly believe this ...

Proverbs 22:6 ~ Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.

It's a Shame ...

Lord why are people so quick to judge what they don't comprehend, instead of thinking before they open their mouths? Classifying every man, woman and youth that's in the United States without a Green Card as a terrorist or criminal ... Just isn't cool ...

Have these individuals forgotten that the U.S. is a melting pot full of immigrants from ALL over the world that have gathered here in search of the American Dream, followed by attempting to help their siblings financially in their homelands? We say this because as Pastors, we've had the honor to really get to know alot of them, pray for and even assist them in their search for employment, a place they can call home and in enrolling their children in school too. Did you know that Undocumented teens take pride in furthering their educations?

One more thing, would any of you like to join us in Praying for these men, women and youth that wish to legalize their status in the United States? Before you answer, think to yourself what would Jesus do?
